CHARLES & RAY EAMES CHAIR MANUFACTURED BY HILLE. 1st Generation 1960s

The 1st Aluminium Group No 680 Side Task Chairs were released on pedestal bases (also known as universal base) which was designed in 1957 and released to the market by 1958.
The universal base dates this chair prior to 1968 and the Hille label, found on the bottom of the chair, proves its authenticity.
During the 1960s and 1970s, one of the four official licensees permitted to manufacture the Charles and Ray Eames designs was Hille International Ltd. England.
Condition is original with the original cream Coloured Vinyl with visible signs of previous use with signs of wear commensurate with age.
